Wondering how you can get involved this year?
We’re awaiting our letter with the date for Sandy’s citizenship ceremony, we were just informed that it is in the mail, so we’ll know soon! We are getting closer and closer to being back in Namibia! As the time approaches, we have some very specific needs coming up.
First, we will need some start up funds for our return. We had to get rid of much of our furniture, appliances and one of our cars before leaving last year. We’ll also have airfare & visa expenses when we get back. Our total estimated return expenses are $18,700. We have been saving toward this & have had some very generous friends and churches help already. We currently have $11,800 set aside, leaving us with a remaining one-time need of $6,900. To see the details of our return budget, you can find it here.
Next, we are still a bit short on our monthly needs, but we are getting close! We just need another $547 in monthly commitments to be at 100% support for the first time! This would mean a full ministry budget as well as the ability to begin a retirement plan. We really hope to reach this goal before returning to the field in the coming months. Email us for a detailed breakdown of our monthly budget.
Please consider how you might like to get involved this Giving Tuesday! If you would like to give a one time gift to help get us back or would like to join the team with a monthly contribution, you can give online today! Click here (you’ll be taken to YWAM-SF’s secure donation page), simply enter the amount you would like to give and our designation code: “575.” The designation code is important for it to get to us (after you enter “575” you should see a picture of our family to confirm). Select “One Time Donation” or “Monthly Gift,” enter your information and click the “Donate” button. That’s all it takes! You’ll then receive a receipt from YWAM-SF for your tax deductible donation.
To all of you, we thank you for the support throughout the years! Your prayer and financial partnerships have been such a blessing and have allowed us all to be a part of what God is doing in Namibia!
God Bless,
David, Sandy, Reese & Avi Echols
